Job Description
- Ensure machines are in perfect working order
- Perform inspection of short-term rentals
- Search for spare parts in POL
- Diagnose and identify malfunctions (electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanical)
- Read and understand electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic diagrams
- Diagnose and solve malfunctions independently
- Carry out jobs independently after receiving the necessary instructions
- Prepare a complete condition report without assistance
- Based on the condition report, search for spare parts and include working hours for an accurate quotation
- Perform small welding tasks
- Carry out final inspections after repairs
- Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues, complete service reports correctly, and include the necessary photos
- Provide occasional support to the field service team, for this a driver’s license is needed
- Leave the workshop clean and tidy
- Perform all tasks independently
Different machines:
- Terminal tractors: Used for container handling in ports.
- RoRo & industrial tractors: Designed for roll-on/roll-off operations and industrial applications.
- Low cab tractors: Optimized for low-clearance environments.
- Body carriers: For transporting various bodies in industrial settings.
- Container carriers: Specialized in handling containers.
- Road rail tractors: Vehicles capable of operating on both roads and rail tracks.
- Other vehicles: Including Terberg Kinglifter truck-mounted forklifts and waste collection equipment.
- Working on E-vehicles: Electrical vehicles
- Diploma in (auto/electro) mechanics and equivalent experience
- stronger electrical knowledge, as the candidates will need to work on electric vehicles.
- Knowledge of electricity, mechanics, pneumatics and hydraulics
- Basic welding skills
- Good command of the English language
- A valid driver’s license (when doing servicing on the road)
- Accurate and punctual working style
- Flexible, independent, and customer-oriented attitude
