Job Description

We are supporting a global industrial company during a major organizational and IT transformation and are looking for an experienced Senior HR IT Governance, Service Management & Compliance Consultant.

The consultant will support upcoming HR IT system audits and year-end audit activities, ensure the structured follow-up of audit findings, and secure critical knowledge.

Candidates from Nearshore Europe are explicitly welcome.

Tasks

  • Support HR IT system audits, year-end audit activities, and related compliance reviews
  • Document, coordinate, and track audit findings, measures, owners, and deadlines
  • Develop and follow up on remediation and improvement plans resulting from audits
  • Ensure that HR IT services comply with governance, risk, escalation, and approval processes
  • Maintain high-quality technical, audit, process, and compliance documentation
  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date information in tools such as LeanIX, COSEP, or comparable platforms
  • Prepare the acquired knowledge and documentation for handover to future internal or external teams

Requirements

  • Strong professional experience in HR IT governance, IT compliance, or IT audit support
  • Practical experience supporting system audits and following up on audit findings
  • Sound knowledge of IT governance, risk management, compliance, and documentation standards
  • Experience with IT service management processes, preferably based on ITIL 4
  • Understanding of data compliance, data protection, cybersecurity, and authorization concepts
  • Ability to translate audit or compliance requirements into actionable measures
  • Strong documentation, coordination, and stakeholder-management skills
  • Very good written and spoken English

Nice to have

  • Experience with HR IT landscapes containing multiple systems and individual solutions
  • Knowledge of GDPR, the EU AI Act, or comparable regulatory requirements
  • Experience with compliant data flows, analytics, and reporting solutions
  • Experience with service-level agreements and service-maturity improvement
  • Background in carve-outs, separations, transformation programs, or operating-model transitions
