Job Description
Transport is at the core of modern society. Imagine using your expertise to shape sustainable transport and infrastructure solutions for the future. If you seek to make a difference on a global scale, working with next-gen technologies and the sharpest collaborative teams, then we could be a perfect match.
Shaping tomorrow's technology
At Function & Software Defined Vehicles, we shape tomorrow’s technology by delivering sustainable, innovative, and data‑driven solutions that improve safety, efficiency, and performance throughout the vehicle life cycle. We support the Volvo Group engineering community with advanced tools, methods, and architectures that enable continuous customer value even after the start of production.
Our strategy is to accelerate the Software Defined Vehicles journey by using a layered software and electronic architecture with industry‑standard interfaces, enabling faster development and regional adaptation. By decoupling hardware from software, we ensure that software can evolve independently, unlocking flexibility, scalability, and long‑term performance improvements. We align our electrical and software architecture with business and operational models to fully leverage the potential of Software Defined Vehicles.
