Job Description

Satellit is seeking an experienced .NET developer with Java know-how to join a multi-disciplinary team delivering digital identity and authentication capabilities for a major energy-sector engagement. The role involves building, validating and documenting reusable authentication/authorization components, contributing to deployment automation, collaborating with IT stakeholders, and participating in agile squad activities. This position follows a hybrid work model with an expectation of being on-site about two days per week and is planned to start in the mid-October to mid-November timeframe. Full-time commitment is required.

Who are you?

What will you do?

  • Design, implement, unit-test and document libraries, services or components that handle user authentication and authorization.
  • Create example applications and code samples to illustrate how to integrate identity and access services into new or existing systems, and communicate these to engineering teams.
  • Customize and extend commercial or open-source products (for example access managers, authorization engines, API gateways, reverse proxies and directory services) and produce supporting documentation for those extensions.
  • Improve and automate continuous integration and continuous delivery workflows, including configuration and release automation.
  • Work closely with IT and application teams to identify integration points, diagnose issues, and resolve problems when connecting to identity fabric services.
  • Install and configure third-party and open-source components by following technical guides and producing any required deployment notes.
  • Take part in squad sprint activities, including planning, execution and retrospective work.
  • Own assigned backlog items, drive tasks to completion and report progress to the squad.
  • Prepare for and actively participate in meetings and workshops, tracking actions and follow-ups.
  • Propose technical solutions that align with requirements and constraints, present them to stakeholders and refine based on feedback.
  • Continuously acquire new technical knowledge, standards and tooling needed to fulfill assigned work.
